SSCPA Consulting, LLC looks forward to helping you with your tax filing for the current and any prior years. The following steps (A-C) will help you gather, organize, categorize, and submit the required information for tax purpose

A. Gather Your Applicable Documents:

  • Copy of your latest (prior year) filed tax returns, not filed by SSCPA, if applicable.
  • Original W2s from all employers for you, spouse, children, and others.
  • Schedule K-1 showing income or loss from any businesses, estates, and trusts.
  • Original W2s from all employers for you, spouse, children, and others.
  • Any 1099s including: 1099 INT; 1099 B; 1099-NEC; 1099-Misc; 1099-Rs; 1099-SSA; 1099-SA.
  • 1099S for sale of real-property; 1099-G for state tax refunds and or unemployment compensation.
  • 1098 INT (mortgage), including real-estate tax bills; 1098 Tuition for college dependents, etc.
  • 1095s A, B, or C for health insurance information; all medical bills (including prescription receipts).
  • Vehicle registration and or tax receipts; donations to charities (church, Red-cross, etc.) Receipts for Goodwill or other donations such as clothing, household items, etc.
  • When in doubt include all other materials clearly marked, “Important Tax information” or any documents for which you have questions.

B. For Business Returns: For clients with small businesses (Sole Prop., Partnerships, LLC, S-Corp, Inc.) In addition to the above, the following information will apply to filing your flow through and separate tax returns, as appropriate.

  • All sales invoices, expenses, and receipts are categorized and tabulated on an excel or word document. Include: purchases; inventory; rent; supplies; utilities; assets purchased; wages; contract workers; licenses; taxes; professional and legal consulting fees; advertising; promotion; meals; entertainment; travel; subscriptions, donations; uniforms, equipment rental, insurance; miscellaneous.
  • If you travel include miles traveled; if you use your home as an office or place of business, include total SQ footage of home and office or business space and total other direct home expenses.

C. Complete the Client Onboarding Information Form (COIF) and/or upload your tax documents via these links:
